I am Chief Investigator for IBD-BOOST, with overall responsibility for the programme. I am Professor of Nursing at King’s College London and former nurse adviser to Crohn’s & Colitis UK. I am delighted that we can undertake a major research programme to the neglected symptoms of fatigue, pain and urgency.

I am Professor of Psychology as applied to Medicine and acting head of Psychology at King’s College London. I am leading on the development of the BOOST online programme. For the past 20 years my research has focused on understanding the unique challenges long-term conditions pose. I have worked alongside people with long-term conditions to better understand how people adjust to long-term illness. This knowledge has been used to develop interventions which aim to support people to maximise their quality of life despite their illness.

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist at St Mark’s Hospital and Professor of Practice at Imperial College, London. I am clinical lead for the IBD-BOOST programme and lead for the St Mark’s Hospital site.

I have an MSc in Health Psychology and during my PhD I developed an intervention for the management of fatigue in inflammatory bowel disease. I have led on the development of the BOOST online programme, helping inform the intervention content through patient engagement activities.

I am a Health Psychologist working in interventions for long-term health conditions. My experience is in developing CBT-based interventions. I have worked on the BOOST online programme, helping to write the intervention content with a focus on the urgency aspects.

I am a PhD researcher looking at chronic pain in inflammatory bowel disease, with a background in Health Psychology. I have been involved with the writing up of content for the intervention, taking a lead role on the pain-specific sessions.
